Our History
1981
After graduating from law university in 1981., Plinio Cuccurin started his professional career in TDiA RZ, in Rovinj.
1990–2015
From 1990. until 2015. he worked in Tvornica Duhana Rovinj, now Adris Group, holding different C-suite positions among which the highest being the Member of the Board. During all his serving period, he made significant contributions to the growth of Adris Group, especially during the privatization of the company in the 1990s.
2005
In 2005, Plinio Cuccurin started using his professional experience to help his home village grow. Thanks to his sustainable vision, dedicated work and leadership skills, he founded Mon Perin with what would nowadays be considered as “crowdfunding”, by engaging more than 50% of the local community.
2015
PLINIO d.o.o., a holding company predominantly focused on tourism and real estate, was established on September 24th, 2015 by Plinio Cuccurin. However, its roots trace back to the founder’s working experience.
After having spent over 33 years in Adris Group, in 2015. Plinio Cuccurin decided to embark on a new journey and leave the company.
In 2015. he established PLINIO d.o.o., a holding company that brought together part of his wealth as well as shareholdings in Mon Perin, and part of his shares in Adris Group.
On November 30th 2015, Plinio Cuccurin founded Foundation PLINIO where he transferred his philanthropic work. The purpose of the Foundation is to promote development and employment in the Republic of Croatia, particularly in newly established and existing businesses in small and medium-sized enterprises.
